Historique
When the Quebec Bar was first established in 1849, there were three sections : Montreal, Quebec and Trois-Rivières. Twelve new sections were created between 1853 and 1991.
The Bar of Lower-St-Lawrence-Gaspe-Magdalen-Islands was created in 1929. Originally bearing the name of Bar of St-Lawrence, it became the Bar of St-Lawrence-Gaspe in 1985 and finally the Bar of Lower-St-Lawrence-Gaspe-Magdalen-Islands in 2001.
